The Responsibilities
• Together with the Head of Marketing and Communications, lead the development and delivery of integrated communications strategies
• Manage all aspects of content creation, design, production, and distribution for printed and digital publications, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and communication goals
• Write and produce newsletters, advertising, press releases, key school stories and promotional materials
• Monitor and manage social media engagement and community interactions
• Collaborate on special projects and support school-wide initiatives
• Lead and develop a high-performing communications team
What You Need to Be Successful
• Relevant tertiary qualification in design, media, public relations, or communications
• Minimum five years’ experience in strategic communications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to produce and edit publications and digital content
• Strong leadership and team management experience
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Warm, collaborative personality with a passion for community engagement
• Alignment with Rangi Ruru’s values and philosophy
• Experience in a school or not-for-profit organisation is advantageous
